전근대로부터 현대에 이르는 한국의 도시 공간과 주거 문화를 역사적으로 접근함으로써 현재적 관점에서 한국의 도시적 삶이 만들어진 배경에 대해 이해한다. 도시와 건축이라는 물리적이고 공간적인 틀과 생활 문화를 총체적으로 살펴봄으로써 ‘한국인의 삶’을 재구성한다.

This course takes a historical approach to Korean urban space and residential culture from premodern times to the present and overviews the background in which Korean urban life has been shaped from the present point of view. The course reconstructs the “Korean life” by comprehensively examining the physical and spatial framework of cities and architecture and the living culture as a whole.

강의 목표

(학습목표)

∙한국의 전통적 주거형태에 대해 이해한다.

∙근대화의 과정에서 새로운 주거, 도시문화의 유입이 한국사회에 공간 구성에 미친 영향에 대해 알아본다.

∙오늘날의 주거형태와 도시공간 구성의 배경을 살펴보고 그 의미에 대해 고찰한다.

∙Understand traditional Korean housing patterns.

∙Learn about the impact of the influx of new housing and urban culture during the process of modernization on the spatial composition of Korean society.

∙Examine the background of today's housing types and the composition of urban space, and discuss their meaning.

강좌구성

본 강좌는 총 8주차로 구성되어 있고, 각 주의 강의는 주제별로 3~6차시의 영상으로 구성되어 있다. 

This course consists of a total of 8 weeks. The lectures in each week are organized into three to six videos by topic.
