1주차 Week 1

1. 한국 고대와 고려시대의 신분 구조를 설명할 수 있다.
Students will be able to explain the structure of status system in ancient Korea and the Koryŏ Dynasty.

2. 조선시대 신분제 변화와 해체 과정을 설명할 수 있다.
Students will explore the changes and collapse of the status system in Chosŏn.

3. 조선시대 신분제에 대한 주요 논쟁을 설명할 수 있다.
Students will discuss the key debates surrounding the social structure of the Chosŏn Dynasty.

1. 초기국가의 계층분화와 고구려·백제의 신분제에 대해 설명할 수 있다.
Students will be able to explain the stratification of societies in the early states and the status systems of Koguryŏ and Paekche.

2. 신라 골품제의 성립 과정과 계층 구성에 대해 설명할 수 있다.
Students will examine the emergence and structure of the Kolp'umje (Bone-rank system) in Silla.

3. 신라 골품제에 나타난 특권·차별의 양상을 논하고, 고려 건국의 의미를 신분제와 관련하여 설명할 수 있다.
Students will discuss the privileges and discrimination in Kolp'umje, as well as the significance of the founding of the Koryŏ Dynasty, in terms of status system.

1. 고려의 법제적인 신분으로서 양천제(良賤制)의 의미를 양신분과 천신분의 법제상의 지위 차이를 통해 설명할 수 있다.
Students will be able to explain the meaning of the Yangch'ŏnje system, the legal status system of Koryŏ, and tell the difference between the legal status of commoners and that of low-borns.

2. 사서제(士庶制)의 의미를 파악하고, 고려 신분제의 개방성과 폐쇄성을 설명할 수 있다.
Students will discuss the significance of the Sasŏje system, to explain the openness and closedness of Koryŏ status system.

3. 지역 신분제로서 부곡제의 의미와 그것의 폐지 과정을 통해 고려 신분제의 특수성을 설명할 수 있다.
Students will explore the Pugokje system in its significance and dissolution to understand the uniqueness of the status system.

1. 조선의 지배층인 양반의 개념과 특권을 설명할 수 있다.
Students will be able to explain the concept and privileges of ‘Yangban’ as the ruling class of Chosŏn.

2. 관료제와 관료 선발 시험인 과거제에 대해 설명할 수 있다.
Students will explore the bureaucratic system and the Civil Service Exam.

3. 양반의 사회적 위상 변화에 대해 설명할 수 있다.
Students will be able to understand the changes in Yangbans’ social status.

1. 조선시대 농민의 생산활동과 국가에 대한 부담을 설명할 수 있다.
Students will be able to explain the production activity of peasants in the Chosŏn dynasty as well as their burden toward the state.

2. 조선시대 평민의 양반 지향 양상에 대해 설명할 수 있다.
Students will discuss how commoners strived to become Yangbans.

3. 조선시대 평민의 양반 모방 양상에 대해 설명할 수 있다.
Students will explore how commoners tried to mimic Yangbans.

1. 조선시대 노비의 종류와 신분 세습에 대해 설명할 수 있다.
Students will be able to explain the types of slaves in Chosŏn and their succession of status.

2. 노비의 일상 생활에 대해 설명할 수 있다.
Students will explore the daily lives of slaves.

3. 노비 중에는 부유한 노비도 있었다는 사실을 설명할 수 있다.
Students will examine how some slaves managed to become wealthy.

1. 노비의 합법적 신분 상승 과정을 설명할 수 있다.
Students will be able to explain the legal ascent of slave status.

2. 노비 가계의 성장 양상을 설명할 수 있다.
Students will examine the growth of slave households.

3. 노비의 신분 해방과 노비제의 폐지 과정을 설명할 수 있다.
Students will explore the process of slave emancipation and abolishment of the slavery.

1. 개항 이후 신분제 해체 과정을 설명할 수 있다.
Students will be able to explain the dissolution of the social class system after the opening of ports.

2. 19세기 말 20세기 초 ‘민’의 성장 과정을 설명할 수 있다.
Students will discuss the rise of ‘the people’ in the late 19th to early 20th century.

3. 삼일운동 이후 ‘국민’의 성립 과정을 설명할 수 있다.
Students will explore the formation of the national people after the March 1st Movement.

1. 단천군 만세시위 사례를 통해 연대로서 삼일운동을 설명할 수 있다.
Students will be able to explain the March 1st Movement in terms of solidarity, focusing on the example of the demonstrations in Tanch'ŏn-kun.

2. 수원 장안면·우정면 시위를 통해 농촌의 만세시위와 다양한 참여층을 설명할 수 있다.
Students will explore the various participants in the demonstrations in the rural areas as in Changan-myŏn and Ujŏng-myŏn, Suwŏn.

3. 서울의 3월 말 만세시위를 통해 도시의 만세시위와 그 숨은 주역을 설명할 수 있다.
Students will examine the demonstrations in the cities and their hidden leads through the late March demonstration in Seoul.

1. 관동대지진 때 조선인 학살의 사례를 통해 피해자로서 민의 역사적 상황을 설명할 수 있다.
Students will be able to explain the historical situation of the people as victims in the massacre of Koreans following the Great Kanto Earthquake.

2. 1931년 반(反)중국인 폭동의 사례를 통해 가해자로서 민의 역사적 상황을 설명할 수 있다.
Students will explore the historical situation of the people as offenders in the anti-Chinese riots in 1931.

3. 관동대지진 학살과 반중국인 폭동의 구조를 통해 피해와 가해의 구조를 설명할 수 있다.
Students will understand the structure of victims and offenders through the case studies.

※ 총 60% 이상 점수 획득 시, 이수증을 발급받을 수 있습니다. A certificate will be issued to students who achieve a total score of 60% or higher.
