강좌소개
- 본 강좌는 한국의 전통음악을 연주하는 한국 악기의 종류와 개별 특징, 악기의 역사 등을 이해하고 각 악기의 소리 및 그 악기로 연주하고 있는 음악을 체계적으로 이해하기 위한 강의이다. 악기에 따라 다양한 장르의 음악을 두루 연주하는 것도 있고 한정된 음악만을 연주하는 악기도 있으며 매우 긴 역사를 지닌 것과 짧은 역사를 지닌 것, 외래 악기와 한국 토착의 악기가 있어서 개별 악기의 총체적 이해를 위해 다양한 접근 방식을 통해 한국의 악기를 이해한다. 따라서 이 강좌는 전형적인 입문 수준의 강의 내용으로 구성, 진행된다.
- This course introduces the main types of instruments used in Korean traditional music, their unique characteristics, and historical backgrounds. You will gain a systematic understanding of each instrument’s sound and the music performed on it. Some instruments are used across a wide variety of genres, while others are found only in specific types of music. Some have long histories, while others are more recent innovations, including both native Korean instruments and those introduced from abroad. To build a well-rounded understanding, the course approaches each instrument from multiple perspectives. Accordingly, this is a foundational, general introduction to Korean musical instruments.
