- 본 강좌는 과거와 현대, 서양과 동양, 예술과 대중을 넘나들면서 한국춤의 개념과 양상을 살펴보는 데 목적을 둔다. 특히 현대 한국에서 공연되고 향유되는 춤을 유형화하여 그것의 역사적 흐름, 미학적 특징, 문화적 의미를 살펴보고자 한다. 이는 한국춤을 과거의 춤이자 고정된 전통으로 바라보는 방식이 아닌, 끊임없이 변화하고 생성되는 문화적 정체성 측면에서 바라본다는 의미를 지닌다.
- This course aims to explore the concepts and aspects of Korean dance, traversing the boundaries between past and present, East and West, and art and popular culture. In particular, it seeks to categorize the various forms of dance performed and enjoyed in contemporary Korea, examining their historical development, aesthetic characteristics, and cultural significance. Through this approach, the course views Korean dance not simply as a relic of the past or a fixed tradition, but as a continuously evolving cultural identity.
