(Course Content/Objectives)
한국천주교회는 박해와 순교라는 피로 얼룩진 역사로 시작하였지만, 점차 한국 종교문화에 깊숙이 뿌리 내린 전통이 되었다. 이번 강좌에서는 내포 신리성지에 담긴 순교의 발자취를 따르는 특집강의를 시작으로, 한국적 정서와 천주교의 종교적 심성을 독특하게 조화시킨 미술과 음악을 살펴보고자 한다. 나아가 갈등에서 조화와 화해로 변화해 온 한국천주교회의 최근 움직임을 생태 영성의 측면에서 고찰해본다.
The Korean Catholic Church began with a history stained by persecution and martyrdom but gradually became a deeply rooted tradition in Korean religious culture. This lecture starts with field recordings tracing the footsteps of martyrs at Naepo Shrine and examines art and music that harmonize Korean sentiment with Catholic spirituality. It also explores recent movements of the Korean Catholic Church toward harmony and reconciliation, focusing on ecological spirituality.
