1. 강좌 소개(Introduction)
<한국인의 일기>는 한국의 대표적인 일기 5종을 선정하여 그 의의와 가치를 살피고 핵심적인 부분을 함께 읽어가면서 이해를 도모하는 고급 교양 강좌이다. 과거의 ‘일기’에는 관청이나 단체에서 매일 특정한 양식에 따라 활동을 정리한 ‘공적’인 일기로부터 개인의 생각과 감상, 그리고 생활을 자유롭게 기록한 ‘사적’인 일기에까지 다양한 유형이 있었는데, 이 강좌에서는 이러한 유형과 함께 작성된 시대를 고려하여 최대한 다양한 유형의 일기를 살펴볼 수 있도록 구성하였다. 또한 5종의 일기를 깊이 연구하고 번역서 또는 다수의 연구논문을 작성한 경력이 있는 분들이 강사로 참여하도록 기획하였다.
“Diaries of Koreans” is an advanced liberal arts course that explores the significance and value of five representative Korean diaries. By reading and analyzing key passages together, the course aims to deepen understanding of these historical texts.
In the past, Korean diaries ranged widely in form and purpose, from official records kept by institutions using standardized formats, to private journals where individuals freely recorded their thoughts, feelings, and daily lives. This course is designed to reflect that diversity by selecting diaries that vary in type and historical context. Each diary introduced in this course is taught by instructors who have conducted in-depth research on the texts, including publishing academic papers or translations, ensuring a scholarly and engaging learning experience.

-한국의 대표적인 일기를 감상함으로써 일기에 나타난 과거의 생활상을 직접 살펴보는 기회를 얻는다.
-한국의 일기를 통해 개인 또는 집단의 기록 전통이 지닌 보편성에 대해 이해한다.
-Deepen understanding of Korean diaries by exploring representative literatures.
-Gain insights into everyday life in the past through the appreciation of historical diaries.
-Understand the universality of personal and collective record-keeping traditions through Korean diary literature.
4. 강좌 운영 일정(Schedule)
- 운영방식(Type): 상시형 강좌(Certificate of completion can be issued at any time after meeting the criteria)
5. 이수 기준(Completion Criteria)
- 평가 기준(Evaluation): 중간퀴즈(Midterm Exam) 50%, 기말시험(Final Exam) 50%
- 이수 기준(Completion): 총합 60점 이상 획득 후 설문조사 응답 시 이수증 발급(Achieve more than 60% in total, and take part in the survey)
