본 강좌에서는 일제 식민지기 시대부터, 원조경제 시기, 고도성장기 등 시대 별 한국 자동차 산업의 주요 특징을 살펴본다. 정부 정책, 자동차 모델, 다국적기업 진출과 독자경영 노선의 경쟁에 대한 강의를 통해, 수강생들은 전후방산업연관효과가 높은 자동차 산업의 선도적 역할을 이해하고, 정부와 기업의 협력이 한국 경제의 고도성장기에 어떠한 역할을 했는지 파악할 수 있다.
This course examines the history of Korea’s automobile industry from the colonial period through the era of foreign aid and into the years of rapid economic growth. By looking at government policies, key vehicle models, and the competition between multinational companies and domestic firms pursuing independent strategies, students will gain a better understanding of how the auto industry helped lead Korea’s economic development. The course also highlights how partnerships between the state and businesses shaped the high-growth period of the Korean economy.
