수업내용 및 학습목표 / Course Summary and Learning Objectives
- 재미 · 재중 · 재일 작가들의 삶과 문학에 대한 이해를 바탕으로, 한국계 해외 작가들이 마주친 정체성의 문제와 예술적 고민, 그리고 그들이 이룬 예술적 성취에 대해 알아본다. 이를 통해 ‘한국 현대 문학’을 지리적으로 고정된 개념이 아닌 유동하는 개념으로 사유하고, 한국문학의 범위를 확장하여 폭넓게 이해한다.
- By understanding the lives and literature of ethnic Korean writers in the United States, China, and Japan, this course takes a look at issues of identity and artistic concerns faced by overseas Korean writers, as well as their artistic achievements. This reconceptualizes modern Korean literature as in motion rather than geographically fixed and builds a broader understanding which expands its scope as a category.
