강좌소개(Course Overview)
This course explores the major writings of key figures in Korean Buddhism, including Wonhyo, Uisang, Jinul, Gihwa, Hyujeong, Baekpa, and Choui. Through close reading and analysis of the texts that can be regarded as classics of Korean Buddhism and their ideas, covering such important Buddhist traditions as Haeom, Seon, and Pure Land, students will develop a deeper understanding of the intellectual and spiritual foundations of Korean Buddhism. The course examines both historical context and philosophical significance in order to illuminate the legacy of Korean Buddhist classics.
이 강좌는 원효, 의상, 지눌, 기화, 휴정, 백파, 초의 등 한국 불교의 주요 인물들의 대표적인 저작들을 탐구합니다. 화엄, 선, 정토 등 중요한 불교 전통을 아우르는 한국 불교 고전과 그 사상을 정독하고 분석함으로써, 학생들은 한국 불교의 지적·정신적 기반에 대한 더 깊은 이해를 갖게 될 것입니다. 본 강좌는 한국 불교 고전의 유산을 조명하기 위해 역사적 맥락과 철학적 의미를 함께 검토합니다.
