논어. 현대인에게 전하는 삶의 이야기
「논어」는 동아시아 문화를 이룩한 바탕이며 읽어낼 수 있는 창문입니다.
2500 여년 전의 책인 만큼 분명히 현대인에게 익숙하지 않을 것입니다.
과거의 관점이 아니라 21세기의 관점에서 사람과 사람 사이를 소통시키기 위해 공자가 찾았던 지혜를 차근차근 다시 살펴보고자 하며, 이를 통해 동아시아의 문화 공통성을 읽어내고 다른 문화권과의 차이를 밝혀낼 수 있을 것입니다. 또한 생활고전의 관점에서 텍스트와 나의 경험을 연결하는 지적 향유 또한 누릴 수 있을 것입니다.
「논어」의 공자가 우리에게 모든 해답을 줄 수는 없습니다만, 공자를 통해 사람 사이를 활짝 트는 삶의 지혜를 배울 수 있기를 바랍니다.

Analects of Confucius : telling the story of modern people.
「Analects of Confucius」 is a window through which the background sprit of East Asian cultures can be viewed.
The book was written 2500 years ago, so it is un familiar to contemporary people.
Looking not through historical view but through a present day lens, for interpersonal communication we want to revisit confucius's wisdom and empathise with the culture of East Asia and understand differences with other cultures.
In addition, from the point of view of appreciation of traditional culture, we can gain intellectual enjoyment from connection between the text and our experience.
The Analects of Confucius cannot give us all the answers, We hope to learn the wisdom of life that opens up between people through Confucius.
